Rapid EnerFlow 780 Active Iron Dissolution Cleaner
Unlike early generation iron sulfide (black powder) dissolving cleaning products, the Rapid EnerFlow 780 makes use of new iron dissolving and dispersing chemistry. The active ingredients in the Rapid EnerFlow 780 are designed to dissolve 3 to 5 times more iron than early generation iron dissolving cleaners based upon THPS.
The Rapid EnerFlow 780 is a neutral cleaning liquid that targets iron compounds and offers exceptional solids dispersing characteristics. While the product is dissolving iron in a chelating fashion from the iron sulfide in natural gas pipelines, at the same time it is offering a corrosion inhibiting feature. The measured corrosion rate of the Rapid EnerFlow 780 using an LPR (linear polarization) probe is consistently below 0.01 mils per year corrosion rate.
In natural gas lines where iron sulfide deposits are severe, it recommended to use the Rapid EnerFlow 780 as an active line cleaner that can pre-condition the line prior to attempting a batch pig application. In many examples using Rapid EnerFlow 780 greatly reduces the number of cleaning runs and the volume of cleaning product required in batch cleaning applications. This represents tremendous savings to pipeline operators by reducing the overall cost of cleaning jobs and the amount of line debris going to disposal.
Rapid EnerFlow 780 is an effective yet economical approach to cleaning natural gas pipelines.
